Charlie Seek Privacy Policy

Charlie Seek is a puzzle game for children and adults. This policy describes information handled by the app and its advertising providers.

Game progress and age group

Puzzle progress, hint treats, settings, decoration order, and your selected age group are stored on your device. We do not require an account, name, email address, exact birth date, camera, microphone, contacts, or location permission to play. Your selected age group is not sent to Made Useful Studios. Android may back up app settings and progress according to your device and Google account settings.

Advertising

The app uses Google AdMob for banner advertising and optional rewarded hint videos for adults. Google may process IP addresses (which can indicate approximate location), device and app information, advertising interactions, and diagnostic information to deliver and measure ads, maintain security, and prevent fraud. We request non-personalized ads with a general-audience content rating. Starting with version 1.0.2, the app includes the Android advertising-ID permission. For adult users, Google may process the advertising identifier, when available and permitted by their privacy choices, for ad delivery, measurement, security, and fraud prevention.

Children and users of unknown age

Children, teenagers, and users who do not provide an adult age group receive child-directed and under-age-of-consent ad treatment. They do not receive rewarded videos; the equivalent hint reward is available without a video. These child-directed and under-age-of-consent settings prevent Google Mobile Ads from transmitting the Android advertising identifier for these users. We do not knowingly request personalized advertising for children. The app has no chat, public profiles, user uploads, or account registration.

Privacy choices

Where required, Google presents advertising privacy choices before ads are requested. You can reopen available choices from Options → Privacy & Ads. When ads cannot be requested, the game remains playable. You can reset game progress using Restart Whole Game, and clear locally stored app data or uninstall the app through Android settings.

Providers and external links

Google processes advertising data under its own privacy policy. Learn more about Google services on partner apps. The optional Watch Charlie on YouTube link opens YouTube or your browser; its own terms and privacy practices apply. Our support pages use Firebase Hosting, which may process standard web request information for delivery and security. No analytics SDK or operator-run game account service is included in Charlie Seek.

Retention and requests

Local game data remains until cleared, overwritten by a restart where applicable, or removed with the app. Advertising providers control their own retention; consult Google's policy and privacy controls. If you contact us, we use the information you provide to respond and resolve your request. Please do not send children's personal information or passwords.
